The Trades to Sheets Add-On allows you to pull account data and specific financial metrics directly into your spreadsheet cells using custom functions. To ensure the Add-On can securely communicate with your brokerage, you must complete the following configuration steps:

Follow these steps to authorize the connection between Interactive Brokers (IBKR) and your Google Sheets environment.
1. Configure the Source Connector
Before the Add-On can retrieve data, you must provide your IBKR API credentials in the Trades to Sheets web portal.
- Log in to your Trades to Sheets account.
- Navigate to Settings > Source Connector.
- Locate the Interactive Brokers Flex Token field.
- Input your token and save changes.

2. Set Your Activity Flex Query ID The Add-On requires a specific report ID to know which data points to fetch from your IBKR account.
- In the Trades to Sheets web portal, go to the Add-On section.
- Find the field labeled Activity Flex Query ID.
- Input your Query ID and click save.

3. Verify Data Provisioning
Once both the Flex Token and Query ID are saved:
- Stay on the Add-On page in the web portal.
- Look for the "Data Provision" status section.
- If you see active data indicators, your Add-On is correctly configured and ready to use inside Google Sheets.
