Today, we are introducing Operations: a new tab within your plan settings designed to give you precise control over your data before it ever touches your spreadsheet.
Why We Built Operations
We developed Operations to bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights. Instead of managing a cluttered spreadsheet, you can now curate your data before it ever reaches Google Sheets. By filtering out unnecessary technical noise, to match your own tracking, and pre-defining the column order, we ensure your reports are clean, professional, and ready for immediate analysis.
Feature Highlights
The Operations tab provides three core layers of customization:
1. Advanced Data Filtering
Define exactly which trades are synced using sophisticated entry rules.
Logic Gates: Use "AND" and "OR" conjunctions to build specific filters.
Rule Grouping: Cluster multiple conditions together for complex reporting needs.
Versatile Operators: Filter by "Equal to," "Starts with," "Greater than," or "Less than" to isolate specific assets, price points, or sectors.
2. Import & Tidy Settings
Control the presentation and organization of your incoming data:
Header Management: Choose whether to include or update headers during the sync.
Multi-Level Sorting: Automatically sort your data by one or more fields (e.g., sorting by Date, then by Asset Class) to keep your records structured.
3. Field Customization
Curate the final deliverable to fit your specific workflow:
Field Selection: Toggle checkboxes to include only the columns necessary for your analysis.
Label Mapping: Edit header labels to align with your preferred terminology.
